About me
Alexia is Co-Founder of Maverix Insights, Strategy & Design Solutions. She is a seasoned Research & Insights professional and a Qualitative Moderator, with extensive experience in understanding the emotions behind people’s attitudes and behaviors to drive innovation for businesses. She currently leads focus groups, UX testing, and ideation sessions across various consumer segments, helping to shape the reactions to new and existing content, products, and platforms.
Prior to co-founding Maverix, Alexia served as Vice President of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Research & Insights/FanLab group. During her time there, she provided key qualitative insights for major brands like HBOMax, DC Entertainment, and Harry Potter, influencing strategies across content development, product launches, and marketing efforts. She also spearheaded generational research, which played a pivotal role in shaping industry-wide strategies.
Before her role at Warner Bros. Discovery, Alexia worked at the FOX broadcast network and a local TV station, where she further refined her research expertise. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about mentoring young professionals. Named one of the "Top 50 Women Leaders in Los Angeles" in 2022, Alexia continues to be a thought leader in the research industry. She is also certified in Design Thinking and Advanced Moderation and currently leads the WIRe LA chapter and is a Board member for Girls Empowerment Network in Central Texas.
