Robert Tonkin is an experienced technology leader in media and entertainment and is currently Head of Production Technology Engineering at Amazon MGM Studios. In this role, he leads a worldwide team bringing next-generation content production and post-production workflows to the company's global productions. Tonkin also led Evolution Media (MGM) as VP of Technology, overseeing post-production infrastructure and previously served as Head of Technology for director R.J. Cutler’s Actual Reality Pictures, leading production and post-technology strategy. In his spare time you’ll find him on the soccer sideline watching his daughter goalkeeping, riding a Peloton ride or producing music on Ableton.
