About me
KEVIN SHERWOOD grew up in Los Angeles. He worked at ILM at the old Kerner facility, then in freelance commercial production and then at Rhythm and Hues where he followed his mentor, Eileen Moran to Wētā in 2002. He recently produced Wētā’s work for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024) and Alien: Romulus (2024). Kevin has now stepped into a senior leadership role as Head of Production where he leads our production teams across three hubs. Across each of these projects, Kevin was the client’s key liaison at Wētā and had ultimate responsibility for the budget, schedule anddelivery. In 2010, Kevin produced Wētā’s first ride, the King Kong 360 3-D at Universal Studios Hollywood, winning a Visual Effects Society Award.
